Five For Five
This is now closed, but please start your own; it is a great way to meet people!
I have room for one more person, so let me know if you want in on this!
Been seeing this on different posts, and it sounds like fun, so:
I got this idea from MooncatBlue, who got it from
Murisopsis who got it from SaintVi, who got it from.... : ) If you want to play, be one of the first five to comment and PM your address to me.The first five people to respond to this post will get something handmade by me. (you can still comment even if you don't want to participate. if you want to play, say something like "pick me!") This offer does have some restrictions and limitations so please read carefully:- I make no guarantees that you will like what I make.
- What I create will be just for you.
- It'll be done this year (2009). (I'm a known procrastinator, so this gives me ample time)
- You have no clue what it's going to be. (Neither do I at this point!)
- It will be something made in the real world and not something over the internet. It may be a mixed CD. It may be a poem. I may sew or photograph something. It could be ANYTHING!
- I reserve the right to do something extremely strange.
- And I also reserve the right to do something severely simple.
In return, all you need to do is post this text into a blog of your own and make 5 things for 5 others. No cheating, if you want something from me you have to post this on your site and follow through. You do not have to be particularly artsy-fartsy to do this. Really. Just use some creative brain cells.

@wherever_we_go - not necessarily, it could be something that fits in an envelope like a picture or poem maybe.

That's such a neat idea! I don't give my address out on the internet, even to awesome people, but little things like this make me wish it wasn't so scary to do so!
I hope you show us what you sent to everyone after it's done.
@PaytonFamily - I will, and knw what ya mean. I finally took a leap of faith. I've actually met people from online with good result. Not a "hookup" or anything, just a meet with friends, a few meals shared. It was fun.
@PaytonFamily - PS-I may tempt ya with a baby gift later!
@lonelywanderer2 - Yeah there are definitely a lot of great people out there, but you never know. Sure, you could also meet a psycho face-to-face, but there is a lot to be said about intuition and common sense when you can look someone in the eyes, & that can't be had over the net.
The baby gift would definitely have been tempting, but hubby is as paranoid as I am, especially now that we have a family to protect. He'd be very upset about address sharing.
@PaytonFamily - 1st one I ever met, I literally just happened to be headed to her city on my way South within a couple days, so I said "Hey, wanna meet me?" Didn't turn into a long-term friendship (was cool for awhile, but she was way too negative), but she picked me up at a bus stop in Phoenix, Arizona, and we had dinner!
Thats a pretty cool idea. But I would be afraid to give my address out haha. Nothing personal just ya know it is a little odd.

@PrincessDiyanaAleeya - Thanks; your aunt signed up for this. Now I just need to get her to send her address. I sent her mine a few days ago.
@lonelywanderer2 - Auntie sleep, she on MC today, not well - flu/fever/headache/ While she sleeping, here I am taking over her computer... hah hah hah (evil laughs). Auntie never gave people home address, she been stalked by guys before - police involved to settled her case. She ran away from our home town also b'coz she been stalked by a guy. She asked for transfer from her current department (at work), maybe she waiting for her transfer approved, and then she have a new ofiz address, maybe then she will forward the new addrezz to ya'
