Me At Age 25
This is in response to a post by lightnindan, An Angel Looks Like What?. The age he gave me was 25.
The years was 1988. At age 25, I had been married for 3 years and was working as a security guard at a private company. Late in the year, I took a job as a corrections officer. This is what first got me to move from my home town. The years since have changed me so much that I hardly recognize my younger self.

wow, married for 3 years already? i can't even imagine that at this point in my life haha. that's cool though!
That's so cool, I'm 25 this year and I was born in 1988. So that makes you 50?
really interesting...
i'm not 25 yet, or else I'd write about it.at 22, I'm flailing around, hoping to graduate soon, figuring out what country to live in and how to love.
it doesn't even get easier
@Losertastic - I'll be 50 this month; at this point I'm just grateful every time I wake up. @Losertastic - Yup, married 28 years as of January!!! @somewhatabstractelf -If you get the chance, I suggest living in a number of couintries, just to learn how different things are depending on where you live and under what type of Government. That's what I'd do if I were young again. Love doesn't come with a guidebook, unfortunately. You just hang on no matter how bumpy the ride gets. @Hunt4Truth - That is for sure.
People may have changed physically but deep down inside, they are still young at heart.
That's interesting. I'm 27 turning 28 this year and I like to wonder how I'll change a few years from now.
@Butterfly_flies_free - Exactly right. I still feel like I am in my 20s. I actually sometimes confuse my daughter for my sister, as she is now 19, and my wife sometimes confuses our son for her brother. No, neither of us is senile or mentally deranged, beyond what most peole are, I don't think. @stepaside_loser - It will shock you 20 years from now, especially if you make major changes in what you do for a living.
