I am very pessimistic about this pope. But I hope things work out.
At this time, we do not know if it was St. Francis Assisi, St. Francis Xavier or St. Francis de Sales.
Based on early signals, some of it may have been Assisian influence but we will know more when Pope Francis elaborates further.
I am actually hopeful about this new Pope. The Church needs a strong positive leader. Thanks for the background on the name...
