WOW — what a graphic demonstration of what we’re often told. You ARE beautiful!
I’ve seen this video before and I thought it was amazing. We’re always so much more critical of our appearance. I know sometimes when I’m doing my make up I freak out if I don’t cover up every little flaw but after seeing this video I realized people probably don’t even notice the “flaws” that I notice about myself.
This is probably one of the only ads I like from the Dove Real Beauty campaign.
@Megabyyte - @ImNotUglyIJustNeedLove - @slmret - @SimplyNita - @Erika_Steele - One flaw in this process I did notice as I reviewed it is it is obvious when the person giving the description is describing themself, and when they are describing somebody else, so perhaps the artist’s own bias, or agenda influenced his drawings.
THANK YOU for this! I’ve spend my life trying to help people see their beauty! One of my best friends was burned over 70% of her body when she was a teenager…yet she has an amazing positive self-esteem. I’ve learned a lot from her! HUGS and YOU are beautiful!
@adamswomanback - Thank you so much. I admire people who keep a bright outlook despite great challenges, such as your friend who suffered severe burns.
Wow. That’s really neat. Who knew how differently people see each other than they see themselves… Wow.
