What color describes your personality?
This is not the silliest question I’ve ever answered, but it has to be in the running. That said, here goes:
Some people see everything in black and white. Some people seem unable to distinguish sharp colors, and see everything indifferent shades of gray. My personality, however, like that possessed by most people, cannot be so simply classified as to compare it to one color. You’d need every color ever seen or imagined to adequately describe me, and the wide range of feelings and emotions that make up my personality. No rainbow has the ability to reflect who we are . No artist who ever lived is capable of capturing the many aspects of the human personality….
We run the gamut from soft barely-there light blues and other pastels when we are resting, relaxed and content, to a the mix of fiery reds and oranges that represent anger, lust or other extremes of passion.
Then we have white, where all light is reflected back outward, and overwhelms the senses, and black, which absorbs all light, when we are in an emotional void, feeling nothing at all.
I just answered this Featured Question; you can answer it too!

I think mine would be a bright color like yellow at times, or a nice soft color like blue at others.
depends…no single color
I didn’t answer this one because I’m colorblind, I’m not sure what colors exist. Sounds like fun to live in color.
i’m struk 5 times by this question blue white yellow red and white again
Mine is a color that is only seen in sunsets, it’s a kind of purple. I’ve never seen a man made color that comes close. I tried to reproduce it with some crayons, paper and an iron once, but couldn’t do it.
How does one answer this question without sounding cliche. My color would be black like my soul because I am dark like night and feel pain like cold freeze on my cold, numb hands. Just kidding. I don’t even know what color I am.
No sure…
Maybe green?
Mine would definitely be a rainbow. (=
haha.
BLACK.
just kidding :]
probably something bright because I’m always happy, outgoing and crazy. But then again, I have this dark, sad, depressing side to me that has developed over the years that is a big part of who I am.
So I would say… probably the whole rainbow
there’s many sides to my personality, what can I say !
People are very colorful characters.
for me it’s always been blues, purples and blacks… bruise colors… depending on my mood they vary by lightness or darkness.. but its weird sometimes i’m in a good mood and i like the darker shades… for me it doesnt mean the darker it is the darker the mood i’m in… sometimes a light shade could mean im in a bad mood or just sensitive… it all depends…
Maybe you should say flannel then!!!
I think I’m a yellow through-and-through. Yellow can be a very happy and cheerful color or it can be the color people associate with depression. It just all depends on a person’s point of view. So, just the one color works for me
I am green. Just because that’s what popped into my mind and I’m not going to pretend that there even could be a logical explanation as to why.
Zebra striped… I think in absolutes, understand in absolutes… black and white.
@SamiiSaysHaii - Black is as close to a good choice as you can come then, Sami! Black comprises every color there is!
Slate gray, like Superior when a storm is rolling in or the color of the November sky just before the dawn during deer season.
Maybe its just that slate gray excites me for what it means.
I don’t know but I love the colors purple and pink.
I like this explanation. Seems a bit less cliche than just saying, “I’M BLEW BECUZ i LYKS TEH WATERSS!!”
You always get a bit more into the questions asked than anybody else.
@AibellFaeire - Thank you; I take that as a great compliment!
I have no idea. Like you, it changes moment by moment. Right now I’m blue.
Right now I’m the color of clay, wet and gray. I’m awaiting my master to mold me into form. To give me function and purpose. Then to be smashed to peices against a wall by the hand that signs my name.
Fun question….mine would have to be white cause we have about a foot and a half of SNOW! LOL!
didn’t realize this was a featured question, but maybe that’s why yours is the 2nd blog i’ve seen on the subject today. :)
I think I’d be all reds, depending on my mood I could be a very dark red or very light pink. The lighter the pink, the more mellow I am. The darker the red, the angrier I am, and of course plain red would just be my personality – very vibrant and refusing to tone it down.
There is a color for every emotion. mood. I don’t know what my color(s) would be really. It is such a mix of a lot. I am still trying to figure what they are.
Me; black, red & maroon.
Black is beautiful.
Red is daring.
Maroon is bravery.
I like your answer. But I beg to differ about black since it the result of all the colors combined… perhaps it reflects mixture of emotions which results in lack of expression.
White is more pure and innocent.
I like blue, purple, red, green and black. They’re rich
I would have to say BLACK most of the time.
my other given name is Hair Of Many Color…so many colors describe me…smile
Like everyone, I am a rainbow. Red comes to mind mostly, not because of anger, but because I am passionate about everything. After being dark gray to black for a long time, I banished those colors of sadness.
Thank you for your comment, their always appreciated at my
site. Keep visiting, and have a nice day!
IRTYC- Wow, thank you! That has got to be the best compliment I’ve ever gotten about my writing.
I definitely see a similarity in yours. I might just be biased, though, since you used the word “gamut,” a current favorite word . . .
Mine would be red.
Bold, Passionate and Aggressive.
Your answer is lovely!
I think mine would be Red or Bright orange because I have a pretty “in your face” personality or at least that’s what I’ve been told.
black. like my soul D:<
red or greeeeeen.
I’ve been told I have a blueish white aura. Other than that, my “True Colors” personality test came out “blue”.
The most inane one I’ve heard was “What animal would you like to be?”
I love this answer!
I love your answer.
Like everyone else, I’m a rainbow of colors. Still, if I had to pick which ones I most identify with, I would say white, lavender, and navy blue.
Think black and red then mostly. In the morning, yellow or orange. Sometimes teal, turquoise, plum, warm brown, nudes, pinks, grays. Like you said– every spectrum.
There really is more to color than meets the eye. Nice perspective. Thanks for sharing so colorful a life.
I don’t believe I have a specific color.
This is indeed a strange question
Like I said on my other post, I don’t understand how a colour can describe a personality, haha. It’s just such a bizarre question and comparison to make, in my opinion.
