Human Contact
My father-in-law came over and took me out to look for job applications and do some shopping. I got a couple of job apps, and ought some things I needed. Afterward he treated me to dinner at Applebee’s. Our food was good and when we were about ready to leave another group of customers came in and were being seated. Our waitress greeted them, and gave one of the young ladies a hug. I’m sure they must have been friends.
I told the waitress I was going to complain about her. When she asked why, I said, “I didn’t get any hugs!!!”
She got kind of flustered, then said, “I’ll hug you!!!” and we did kind of a half-hug.
When we got outside, I told my father-in-law, “I was mostly just teasing her, but that was kind of nice. That was the first physical contact I’ve had with another human being (other than shaking hands) in a month!!!”

In the last 7 years I’ve had about 3 hugs and that’s it. I’m thinking about getting a prostitute.

@lonelywanderer2 – Lets do it and blog about our experiences! To be honest, I don’t think I’d even want sex with her. I’d just want to lie there for an hour cuddling and kissing and foreplaying, for the close contact. I’d want to save sex for someone who’s chosen to be with me and isn’t being paid to do it!

This made me laugh…because as you can imagine, I am always hugging people…even total strangers!
Seriously, the LACK of loving human touch is so sad to me.
I think most people don’t get enough positive, safe, loving touches…so that’s why I say “I’m a hugger” and see if they want a hug. Also, I will touch a person’s forearm gently or pat their shoulder.

PS…it’s nice you have a good relationship with your FIL.
Really? I get the same kinda weird feeling when I go try make up or a haircut lol The girls always massage my hand and what not and it feels so weird! xD I have lots of physical contact from my kids and my husband but not really from others. I kinda avoid it! It really shocks me when someone hugs me unexpectedly or pulls me from a handshake into a hug xD
@TaleOfAScale -I have always felt getting a haircut or a shave is kind of an intimate experience. When they wash my hair, even more so. @adamswomanback - I got lucky in the in-law department, even though my marriage is in the toilet they are still very supportive. Yeah; I really miss hugs and kisses, and just having someone next to me at night. @AutumnStrength I feel the same way about paid sex, but might pay for the chance to just have a woman physically with me. - @Losertastic - Thanks for the hug, and I have a dog. It’s not the same.
